Wang Kai, born on March 14, 1979 in Haidian District, Beijing, is a host in Mainland China.

In 2001, he graduated from the 1997 undergraduate class of the Broadcasting Department of the School of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts of Communication University of China and has been engaged in dubbing work since graduation.

In 2004, he was transferred to the Voice of Literature and Art of China National Broadcasting Station as the host, during which he performed a large number of novels.

In 2005, he began to serve as the host of the "Wealth Story Show" column of CCTV Economic Channel. He also served as the host of "Rivals" (formerly "Business Road") of CCTV Financial Channel.

In early September 2009, due to the Ma Bin *** incident, the "Ma Bin Reading Newspaper" column of CCTV's "First Time" was renamed "Newspaper Reading Time", and the host was changed to Wang Kai of "Wealth Story Club".

On March 14, 2013, Wang Kai announced his resignation from CCTV through Sina Weibo.

In December 2017, he joined Hunan Satellite TV's "Sound on the Scene" and partnered with Li Shihong to dub "Journey to the West" in the seventh episode.
