How to maintain the stone Buddha correctly

We often say, Millennium stone carving, Millennium Buddha. Stone Buddha statues have a long carving process.

Maintenance methods of stone Buddha statues;

1. The stone Buddha cannot be exposed to the scorching sun for a long time. Like people, Buddha statues are prone to "heatstroke" after exposure, but for Buddha statues, they will directly crack. So be careful not to put it in the window when placing it.

2. Stone Buddha should not be placed in extremely humid or dry room. In a very humid environment, some Buddha statues may grow "hairy", and some may fall off paint and rust. Such as green sandalwood crafts will spit out silvery white silk. In an excessively dry environment, some Buddha sculptures may partially crack.

Third, the stone Buddha should not be placed near an open flame, kang or stove. Especially in the north of China, because living in the north has heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. Therefore, it should be noted that the Buddha statue should not be placed near the air outlet or heating pipe, otherwise it is likely to affect the appearance of the Buddha statue.

Four, the stone Buddha statue should not be wiped with a towel dipped in water, and it is better to wipe with a wax or oily cotton towel.

Usually, according to the cleanliness of the indoor environment, dry cotton cloth or feather duster is used to dust the upper surface of the Buddha at regular intervals to show its natural beauty. If the Buddha statue is found to be slightly dull, you can use a brush to coat the surface of the Buddha statue with wax polish and wipe it with a rag.
