(1) Guiyang Medical College
Guiyang Medical College is a provincial key institution of higher learning with a long history. Founded in 1938, it was the national Guiyang Medical College, which was one of the nine national medical colleges directly under the Ministry of Education at that time. 1950 was renamed Guiyang medical college. At present, it is a provincial key institution of higher learning in Guizhou Province, and the only medical doctor degree awarding unit in the province.
(2) Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Nursing
Guizhou Vocational College of Nursing was approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government on 20 17, and was established by the Ministry of Education for the record. At present, vocational colleges offer nine majors, including nursing, midwifery, rehabilitation technology, rehabilitation technology of traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacy, medical beauty technology, optometry technology, health management, intelligent health service and management for the elderly, among which nursing majors also include oral care, intensive care, elderly care and hospital feeling.
