How to get to Qiandongnan

Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, on the southeast edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, bordering Hunan in the east and Guangxi in the south. There are more than 20 ethnic groups living in the territory, such as Miao, Dong, Han, Buyi and Shui, with rich ethnic customs. So how can we go to Qiandongnan?

Plane: There are two airports in southeastern Guizhou, but there are fewer flights. Train: There are only Kaili in the north, Zhenyuan in the south and Rongjiang and Congjiang in the south in southeastern Guizhou, and there are no railways passing through Liping and Zhaoxing counties. Cars: At present, cars are the most important means of transportation in Qiandongnan Prefecture, and there are shuttle buses between counties.

First of all, the plane

There are two airports in Qiandongnan, Liping Airport is located in Liping County, and Kaili Huangping Airport is located in huangping county. There are few flights between the two airports, not every day.

Second, the train

Only Kaili and Zhenyuan in the north and Rongjiang and Congjiang in the south of Qiandongnan Prefecture have trains passing by, while Liping and Zhaoxing counties have no railways. In the direction of Guizhou, you can take the train to Kaili or Zhenyuan, then transfer to Congjiang and Rongjiang by bus, and visit Qiandongnan from north to south. Tourists from Guangdong and Guangxi can also take the Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed train to Congjiang, and then visit Qiandongnan from south to north.

Third, cars.

At present, cars are the most important means of transportation in Qiandongnan Prefecture, and there are shuttle buses between counties. However, some villages, such as Zengchong Drum Tower, Basha and Huang Xiao, have no public transportation, so they can only enter by chartered bus.
