Difference between Hangzhou Port Subway and Hangzhou Subway

There are obvious differences between Hangzhou-Hong Kong subway and Hangzhou subway in company type, business content and operation route.

Hangzhou-Hong Kong Metro is a Sino-foreign joint venture company jointly funded by Hangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Railway Co., Ltd., which is mainly responsible for the investment, construction, operation and management of Hangzhou Metro 1 Line, as well as the rental of business premises such as shops and other supporting services within the project land. Hangzhou Metro is an enterprise directly under the Hangzhou Municipal Government, which is responsible for the construction, operation and management of rail transit in Hangzhou, as well as house demolition services, import and export of goods and technologies. The subway lines operated are Metro Line 2 and Metro Line 4.
