Is there a subway in Urumqi?

Up to now, there are ***4 subway lines and 7/kloc-0 stations (including planning) in Urumqi, namely subway 1 line, subway line 4, subway line 3 and subway line 2.

Urumqi Metro 1 Line is the first subway line constructed and operated in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The northern section of the project was opened on October 25th, 20 1819, and the southern section of the project was opened on June 28th, 20 19. The logo color is blue.

The subway in this city passes through five areas in Urumqi, namely (the number of subway stations in brackets): Tianshan District (13), Shuimogou District (7), Shayibak District (22), Xincheng District (27) and Toutunhe District (2).

Construction Process of Urumqi Metro Line 2

Metro Line 2 will be built in two phases. Platform 16 will be set up in the first phase, starting from Yan 'an Road in the south to Huashan Road in the northwest.
