Qujing Maternal and Child Health Hospital is the only specialized hospital for women and children in Yunnan Province. Its predecessor was Shanghai Provincial Maternity Hospital and Shanghai No.2 Maternal and Child Health Hospital, which was established in 1893. On 1972, it was relocated from Shanghai Hospital and renamed Qujing Maternal and Child Hospital.
