What's the difference between Dalian Railway Station and Dalian North Station?

The location and functional positioning of the two stations are different.

1, location: Dalian Railway Station is located in Zhongshan District, Dalian, near Qingniwa Bridge and Dalian Shopping Mall; Dalian North Station is located in the north of Dalian, which is high-speed railway station.

2. Different functional positioning: dalian railway station mainly undertakes part of the EMUs managed by Shenyang Railway Bureau and most of the ordinary speed trains entering and leaving Dalian, and does not set up high-speed trains; Dalian North Station is the starting hub of high-speed railway station-China-Kazakhstan High-speed Railway, Dandong-Dalian Express Railway and Shenyang-Dalian Railway.
