The main responsibilities of Anhui US Food and Drug Administration

(a) to implement the national policies, laws and regulations on food, medicines, medical devices, health food and cosmetics; Participate in drafting relevant local regulations; Formulate policies, plan and supervise the implementation of food, medicine, medical equipment, health food and cosmetics safety supervision and management in catering services in the province.

(three) to supervise the implementation of food safety management standards for catering services, to carry out food safety investigation and monitoring, and to release daily supervision information on food safety for catering services.

(four) to be responsible for the hygiene license, supervision and management of cosmetics, and to undertake the preliminary examination and filing of cosmetics.

(five) responsible for the administrative supervision and technical supervision of drugs and medical devices, and supervise the implementation of quality standards for the development, production, circulation and use of drugs and medical devices.

(six) to supervise the implementation of the national standards for drugs and medical devices, and to be responsible for the relevant work and supervision and management of the registration of drugs, medical devices, packaging materials and preparations in medical institutions; Organize the monitoring of adverse drug reactions and medical device adverse events, and be responsible for the re-evaluation and elimination of drugs and medical devices; Organize the implementation of the classified management system for prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs, and cooperate with relevant departments to implement the national basic drug system; The implementation of drugs, medical devices production, management and medical institutions preparations and other licensing management.

(seven) to organize the implementation of Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine supervision and management norms, supervise the implementation of Chinese herbal medicine production quality management norms, Chinese herbal pieces processing norms, organize the implementation of Chinese herbal medicine variety protection system.

(8) Supervise and manage the quality and safety of drugs and medical devices, supervise and manage radioactive drugs, narcotic drugs, toxic drugs, psychotropic drugs and pharmaceutical precursor chemicals, and release information on the quality and safety of drugs and medical devices.

(nine) to investigate and deal with food safety and illegal acts in the development, production, circulation and use of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics in catering services; Examination and approval of advertisements for health food, medicines and medical devices.

(ten) to guide the supervision and management, emergency inspection and information construction of food and drug related aspects in cities and counties.

(eleven) the implementation of licensed pharmacist qualification system, guidance and supervision of licensed pharmacists registration; To undertake the qualification evaluation of pharmaceutical professional and technical personnel and the related work of pharmaceutical continuing education.

(twelve) to carry out international exchanges and cooperation related to food and drug supervision and management.

(thirteen) to undertake other tasks assigned by the provincial government and the provincial health department.
