What is a PCD blade

In order to effectively control the chips in the processing of nonferrous metals, especially aluminum, a PCD blade with chip breaker was developed abroad. This kind of blade is a cemented carbide matrix blade with an integral PCD cutting edge. The carbide chip breaker is directly welded on the substrate, which eliminates the gap between diamond and chip breaker and avoids chip blockage. The circumferential cutting speed of the blade is 250m/min, and the feed speed is 0.25mm/min.
