Chronology of People

1953-197

I started studying in Liuli Township Primary School in Haiyan County in the spring of 1953. In July 1958, he was admitted to the private junior high school of Chepu Commune in Haining County (now Chepu Middle School in Haiyan County). From 1961 to junior high school graduation, he was tutored by Zhou Jinfu, an art teacher in junior high school. He went to Jiaxing with his classmates Bu Quanxin, Yuan Zhifang and Bu Yanping to take the entrance examination for the middle school attached to Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Fine Arts), and was admitted to the middle school attached to him at the same time.

Since September, 1961, I have studied painting in the middle school attached to Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Fine Arts) for four years. The head teacher is Dai Zuyin, and the professional teachers are Zhou Cangmi, Ma Yuru, Yan Youjun, Yao Qiaoyun, Chen Xingqiang, Chen Guanshi, Wang Baizheng and Zhang Youtao. I have heard lectures from Pan Tianshou, Yan Wenliang, Guan Liang, Wang Liuqiu and Xu Yongxiang. In May, 1966, he joined the Youth League of * * * during the May 4th Youth Day, and was rated as an advanced student by the Youth League Committee of our college together with Liang Pingbo and other students. In June, the "Cultural Revolution" began. During the "Cultural Revolution", teachers and students of the college suspended classes to participate in sports. Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts was renamed "Zhejiang University of Fine Arts of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers".

In September p>1967, in order to cooperate with the art exhibition held by Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Oil Painting Department organized all teachers and students to create two large-scale oil paintings. In collaboration with teachers Zheng Shengtian and Xu Junjia, the painting "The Right Way in the World is Vicissitudes-Chairman Mao inspects the north and south of the great river" was selected for the exhibition, and soon became popular all over the country.
