Main responsibilities of each sub-bureau: responsible for environmental protection approval and completion acceptance of management construction projects in the jurisdiction; To formulate and organize the implementation of environmental protection plans, plans and special plans within its jurisdiction; Participate in the formulation of land consolidation planning and ecological environment construction planning in the jurisdiction, and work out the planning of nature reserves in the jurisdiction jointly with relevant departments; Organize the implementation of environmental management systems for water, atmosphere, soil, noise, radiation, light, odor, solid waste and chemicals in the jurisdiction, and organize and coordinate the protection of drinking water sources, natural ecology and marine environment in the jurisdiction; Supervise the protection of rural ecological environment, organize and guide the construction of ecological demonstration areas and green communities (schools); Responsible for the environmental protection target responsibility system and the quantitative assessment of comprehensive improvement of urban environment during the term of office of the government under its jurisdiction; Responsible for the total pollutant emission control and environmental statistics within the jurisdiction; Responsible for environmental publicity and education within the jurisdiction; Responsible for the examination and approval of pollution source declaration and the collection of sewage charges; Supervise and inspect the implementation of relevant laws and regulations on environmental protection by sewage units within their jurisdiction according to law, and implement administrative punishment and administrative enforcement; To be responsible for the investigation and handling of environmental pollution accidents and disputes within its jurisdiction; Accepting and undertaking the investigation and handling of environmental petition cases of regional pollution sources; Responsible for the on-site investigation and disposal of environmental emergencies in the jurisdiction; Responsible for the construction and management of online monitoring system in the jurisdiction; Complete other tasks assigned by the superior environmental protection department.
