Is it easy to find a simple Japanese translation job now?

It's not easy to find, unless you are good enough to be a translator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who receives foreign guests, or a full-time translator of Japanese literature or books signed with a publishing house. Nowadays, due to Japanese anime, there are actually many people who can speak Japanese and many people who can translate. If you want to be outstanding and do nothing else, it is actually very difficult to be a full-time Japanese translator. It must be hard to find a job. You need to have the ability to prove certificates such as simultaneous interpretation, or have talent or experience that others don't have.

You need to study Japanese culture as well as translation, not only in textbooks, but also in Japanese online language and slang. We should have more contact with employees or leaders of companies that recruit Japanese translators in order to stay ahead of others who are also competing for employment.
