Sang, correspondent of China Meteorological News, reported that recently (2065 438+03. 5. 20), the second phase of Dalangdian Reservoir in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province was successfully completed. Cangzhou Water Supply and Drainage Company of Hebei Province especially expressed its gratitude to the Meteorological Bureau: the weather forecast service provided a very important guarantee and help for the project construction.

It is understood that in order to ensure the safety of water supply, in view of the lack of water storage in Dalangdian in winter, Cangzhou Water Supply and Drainage Group has implemented a rare secondary water transfer measure for many years, attracting more than 36 million cubic meters of Yellow River water. Moreover, the reservoir that has completed water diversion is always in a high water level operation state. Due to the windy spring, the operation safety of the reservoir is facing a test.

To this end, the Municipal Water Supply and Drainage Group especially turned to the Municipal Meteorological Bureau for help. The bureau fully supports this popular project. Since April this year, in addition to paying close attention to weather changes, special personnel have been arranged to communicate with them normally. In case of abnormal weather, start the meteorological information early warning mechanism in real time, release preventive information in time, and remind the water supply and drainage company to prepare for the start of the plan. "Tailor-made" meteorological service provides a strong guarantee for the safety of the reservoir during the project.
