Mold designer's job responsibilities

Mold designer: refers to the personnel engaged in the digital design of enterprise molds, including cavity molds and cold stamping molds. On the basis of traditional mold design, they apply digital design tools to improve the quality of mold design and shorten the mold design cycle. Simply put, it is to make a model before a product is produced, and mold designer is the person who designed this model.

Mold designer's job responsibilities:

1, according to the product model and design intention, carry out the digital design of the mold and establish the related three-dimensional solid model of the mold;

2, carrying out digital drawing, making the three-dimensional product and the mold model into three-dimensional graphic files and modifying them, and converting the three-dimensional graphic files into two-dimensional engineering drawings used in conventional processing;

3. Digital analysis and simulation of mold, including structural analysis, thermal analysis, fatigue analysis and motion analysis of mold parts according to product molding process conditions;

4, product molding process simulation, injection molding and stamping; Purchase standard parts according to the standard requirements of molds; Customize the standard parts and standard design process suitable for the company's mold design;

5. Be responsible for the production, later management and maintenance of molds.
