Brief introduction of Xinhua bookstore

Xinhua Bookstore is a state-owned book publishing enterprise in People's Republic of China (PRC), which belongs to Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and China Publishing Group. It is the official bookstore of the country and one of the publicity and sales offices of national publications. Xinhua Bookstore Head Office was directly led by the Central Party Newspaper Committee, the Central Publishing Committee, the Central Publishing Bureau, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the State Publishing Bureau, the Ministry of Culture, the State Publishing Bureau and the State Press and Publication Administration in different periods.

In April 2002, according to the strategic deployment of the central cultural system reform, Xinhua Bookstore Corporation became one of the important members of China Publishing Group 12. Its distribution outlets are all over the country, and the management organization is Xinhua Bookstore Head Office.
