Tongliao Jinmei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinmei Chemical Industry") was jointly established by China Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jinmei Holdings and Danhua Technology (A shares: 600844, B shares: 90092 1), with an initial investment of 2.2 billion yuan. It is the first modern high-tech enterprise in the world to produce ethylene glycol from lignite. The company is located in Tongliao Economic and Technological Development Zone in the east of Inner Mongolia, about 300 kilometers away from Shenyang and Changchun, with convenient transportation.
