Yaxi Slow City was awarded the title of "International Slow City" by the World Slow City Organization at the International Slow City Conference in Scotland in 2010. It is also China’s first International Slow City.

The night in the countryside is peaceful. When you go back to your room under the stars, you will have a dreamless night. The alarm clock rang in the morning, and I was too lazy to get up. When I arrived at the restaurant, I found that they had made porridge from the rice that I had not finished yesterday.

In this way, I also ate two bowls of porridge mixed with pickles and one and a half steamed buns before I felt completely full. It seemed like I was really tired from the ride the night before. So happy too. Happiness always seems to make people let down their guard and eat more.

After breakfast, I was about to leave Yaxi Slow City. The car drove forward and I looked at this place with few houses. I really felt comfortable and liked it. It restores childhood dreams and a past, pure life.
