Mingguang city is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, which is managed by Chuzhou City. It is located on the northeast edge of Anhui Province, on the north side of Jianghuai watershed, bordering Xuyi and Sihong in Jiangsu Province in the east, Chuzhou City in the south, Wuhe River in the north and Dingyuan and Fengyang in the west.
