According to official website, Yangzhou Municipal People's Government, by the end of 20021,Lidian Town had completed industrial invoice sales of 27.77 billion yuan, accounting for 43.5% of Guangling District, industrial warehousing tax of 767 million yuan, accounting for 40.3% of Guangling District, and its per capita GDP ranked eighth among the 63 towns in the city, making it a strong economic town. Lidian Town is located in the southeast of Yangzhou City, bordering Touqiao in the east, Shatou in the west, Hangji in the north and the Yangtze River in the south. It is the geographical center of Zhou Bei.
