Medical English test time

Medical English test time: the first Saturday in early June and the first Saturday in early December.

Registration time: mid-March to early April, late September to mid-October.

Exam duration: 9:00 to 11:00 for Levels 1, 2 and 3, 9:00 to 11:30 for Level 4.

Due to epidemic prevention and control, the Medical English Proficiency Examination in the second half of 2022 is scheduled to be held on December 3, and the registration period is from September 26 to October 21.

The role of the Medical English Test.

After more than 10 years of development, the METS examination project has played a good role in promoting professional foreign language teaching in medical schools in my country and has trained a group of professional medical English teachers. Through teaching, assessment and evaluation, a group of medical students with professional English application abilities have been cultivated.

The Medical English Proficiency Test Office provides support and assistance to METS test centers in terms of medical English teaching guidance, teacher training, scientific research services, and teaching evaluation. In short, the METS project has played a positive role in improving the overall quality of my country's medical and health professionals and strengthening international exchanges and cooperation.

Purpose of the exam.

METS follows the laws of medical education and the growth of medical talents, is based on basic national conditions, and draws on international experience. It is an exam independently developed by my country. Through METS, we will deepen the reform of medical education in colleges and universities, especially the reform of English teaching, and improve the internationalization level and professional English teaching level of my country's medical and health colleges.
