First of all, our aluminum veneers are generally pure aluminum plates with a thickness of 3 mm. Then the problem is coming. Now, what method should we use to surface treat it? The surface treatment methods of aluminum plate generally adopt powder electrostatic spraying and fluorocarbon resin paint spraying.

1. Electrostatic powder spraying is mainly made of polyurethane or epoxy resin with high color retention, and dozens of different colors can be obtained. This powder coating is resistant to corrosion, friction and collision. Even under strong impact, the aluminum plate is deformed, and the sprayed layer is intact, without cracks and peeling. The only drawback of this powder coating is its poor ultraviolet resistance. After long-term exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet rays, it is easy to produce a color difference between yin and yang after a few years, so in recent years, the surface treatment method of powder electrostatic spraying is basically no longer used.

2. Fluorocarbon resin paint is a metal topcoat made of fluorocarbon polymer resin, which is used to make paint oil. This topcoat can resist all kinds of corrosion (such as acid rain and various air pollutants), is not afraid of strong ultraviolet radiation, has excellent cold and heat resistance, and will not accumulate dirt on the surface. It is precisely because of the above-mentioned good properties that fluorocarbon resin paint can keep the color uniform, the surface smooth and colorfast for a long time, and the service life can last for decades. At present, almost all the single-layer aluminum plates used in curtain walls are sprayed with fluorocarbon resin paint.
