Xi No.85 Middle School is a provincial-level standardized high school directly under the Municipal Education Bureau and one of the first ten provincial-level key middle schools in Shaanxi Province. The school was founded in 1950, formerly known as Xi Workers' and Peasants' Accelerated Middle School, and later became the second affiliated high school of Shaanxi Normal University, and was renamed in 197 1. The school is located in the southern suburbs of the ancient city, with the world-famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the east and the magnificent Shaanxi History Museum in the north. The school covers an area of about 85 mu, which is one of the large secondary schools in the suburbs of Xi. The campus has a beautiful environment and reasonable layout, with evergreen seasons and flowers in three seasons. The school has main building facilities such as office building, laboratory building, teaching building, Shaw Book Building, lecture hall, gymnasium, student apartment, canteen, etc. A modern teaching building with an investment of/kloc-0.5 million yuan is under construction.
