Development countermeasures of shahe glass industry. In recent years, the requirements of national industrial policy and environmental policy have become more and more strict, and great changes have taken place in the international and domestic markets. Shahe glass industry is facing new opportunities and challenges. Facing the new situation, we actively responded, changed passive response into active change, adhered to the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, guided by market demand, focused on accelerating the adjustment of industrial structure and changing the mode of economic development, and took a series of effective measures with the technical support of universities and scientific research institutes, which made the glass industry take a solid step on the road of upgrading.

First, Wuhan University of Technology was entrusted to compile the Development Plan of Shahe Glass Industry, which was demonstrated by national experts in Beijing on February 5, 2007.

Second, in view of the shortage of talents in the glass industry in our city, the low technical content of enterprises and the weak innovation ability, last year, our city signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wuhan University of Technology to jointly build Shahe Glass Science and Technology R&D Center, devoted to the research and development of new glass products and technological transformation, and guided enterprises to take the development road of combining Industry-University-Research by relying on the center. Driven by the center, Wuhan University of Technology and Xinli Glass Co., Ltd. jointly established Shahe Xinli Special Glass Research Institute, and established Industry-University-Research base in Xin Ying Group. At the same time, Safety Industry Co., Ltd., Great Wall Glass Factory and Zheng Da Glass Factory have also established close cooperative relations with Bengbu Glass Industry Research and Design Institute, Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Design Institute and Luoyang Industrial Research and Design Institute.

Thirdly, in order to give full play to the agglomeration effect of enterprises and reduce their production costs, we have planned the Jinbaijia Glass Industrial Park, which covers an area of 17 square kilometers. At present, the scale of the park has reached 7.7 square kilometers, and the supporting facilities such as roads, drainage, power supply, natural gas and communication in the park are basically perfect. It has become one of the thirteen characteristic parks named by Hebei provincial government.

Fourth, intensify efforts to eliminate backward production processes. Up to now, * * * has shut down 84 production lines and dismantled 20 production lines. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, the backward production capacity of18 million weight boxes will be eliminated. At the same time, strictly control the entry of projects and prohibit the construction of projects that do not conform to the national industrial policy.
