Some postdocs will choose to work in the R&D departments or research institutes of large companies, and the salary is acceptable. It depends on the discipline, the strength of the company, and the emphasis on R&D.

The number, grade, and citation rate of SCI papers published are important indicators for recruitment, promotion, assessment, and awards in domestic universities, hospitals, and research institutes.
