Chen Wenming, male, born in Yongding County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, was born in February 1963. One of the Olympic torchbearers. Teacher Chen Wenming has been engaged in primary education and teaching in rural areas with difficult conditions for 25 years. He is diligent, conscientious and devoted himself to the teaching research and reform of rural primary schools with full enthusiasm.

For the sake of his beloved mountain education, he studied the theory and method of education and teaching in a difficult teaching environment, and combined with his own teaching practice, he wrote more than 130 educational and teaching articles with unique insights and guiding significance, which were published in national education journals respectively. Six educational books have been edited and published. In 2002, he was awarded the title of "Super Teacher" in Fujian Province, "National Model Teacher" in September 2004, "Excellent People's Teacher" in February of the same year, and "National Top Ten Teacher Nomination Award" in 2005.

Hushan Township is located at the junction of Yongding, Pinghe and Dabu counties in Fujian and Guangdong provinces, at the southernmost tip of western Fujian, more than 60 kilometers away from the county seat, and is called "Yongding Siberia". Before 1999, there was only one forest "Sun Highway" in Hushan Township, and it would be sunny for several days. Chen Wenming knows this road too well. 1982 after he graduated from normal school, he walked on this road for 25 years. In the past eight years, he has been running back and forth between the single and double schools and the central primary school, and he has been transferred wherever he needs it, so he has turned seven times.

1September, 1987, due to the need of work, I was transferred from central primary school to Qiaxi dual school with more difficult conditions. The school is 0/5km away from his home/kloc-and there is no expressway. It takes more than six hours to go back and forth. At that time, his child was about to be born, and his wife was pregnant and had to do farm work. The great difficulties of work and life made him breathless. But he didn't complain.

Every day after school, he can only face the empty classroom, accompanied by a quiet kitchen and dormitory. So someone asked, "What are you most afraid of in a single or double school?" He said: "I am not afraid of heavy courses or poor conditions. What I am most afraid of is dropping out of school. " Because the loneliness after school is beyond words. At school, I cook by myself. Use kerosene lamps to prepare lessons and correct homework at night. When the next day, my nostrils were filled with black soot.

Chen Wenming knows that there are many farming activities in the mountain village, and the work and rest are irregular, so it is very difficult to hold a parent-teacher meeting. In order to make up for the disconnection between home and school, he often makes use of the rest time at noon and night to make home visits, mobilize children to enter school, and give timely feedback on students' learning situation, which has won the praise of parents.

During his decades of teaching career, Chen Wenming gradually explored the "three-hearted" principle of educating students, namely "love, confidence and patience". He first grasped the important link of "love", tried to be a close friend, mentor and friend of students, and always cared for and cared for every student.

Yongsheng, a fifth-grade boarder, is a famous "underachiever" in the whole school, but he said that if you don't hand in your homework, you won't have your homework. In fact, immortality is to buy snacks. Teacher Chen didn't blame him, but bought him some exercise books. Yongsheng took the exercise book, bowed his head in shame and returned to the classroom to hand in his homework. One day at lunch, Yongsheng accidentally fell down and his forehead was bleeding. Teacher Chen quickly picked him up and sent him to the hospital. Seeing blood and sweat dripping all over the teacher, he insisted on going by himself. Teacher Chen said firmly, "Let's talk about it at the hospital." Yongsheng had six stitches on his forehead, but he didn't cry out pain or shed a tear. Back at school, Mr. Chen, who was already exhausted, cooked him another bowl of noodles. He looked straight at the teacher and waited for a while, then suddenly jumped into his arms and cried: "Teacher, you are better than my parents. I will definitely listen to you in the future and study hard. "

Due to the remote location of Hushan, inconvenient transportation and ineffective information, it is difficult for schools to find a reference book except textbooks and chalk, let alone adopt modern teaching methods such as multimedia. However, in order to meet the needs of teaching, Mr. Chen bought a large number of teaching reference materials and subscribed to more than a dozen educational newspapers and periodicals such as Fujian Education and Pupils Weekly to improve his teaching level. He overcame many difficulties and took part of his own travel expenses with the research group to study in other places many times. After three years of experimental research, combined with local conditions, he formed a teaching mode of "giving full play to students' subjectivity and paying attention to individual differences", which was affirmed by his superiors.

Over the years, Mr. Chen has spent all his time chatting at his desk and playing poker. Finally, he has written more than 20 teaching papers, such as Cultivation of Students' Thinking Quality in Applied Teaching, Current Situation and Countermeasures of Rural Curriculum Reform, and Cultivation of Students' Innovative Consciousness in Mathematics Classroom Teaching, which have been published in periodicals such as Primary School Teaching Reference or exchanged at or above the provincial level and won prizes. In cooperation with educational peers, he has compiled and published six teaching and research books, including Happy Teaching Concept in Primary Schools and Guidance on Reading, Writing and Calculating Methods in Primary Schools.
