In order to meet the reading needs of readers, based on the current overall situation of epidemic prevention and control and the work deployment of superiors, and on the premise of implementing epidemic prevention and control measures, our library has scheduled May 13, 2020 On the basis of the original restored open space and service functions, the opening scope of the functional space will be expanded. During the opening period, reservation limited service will still be implemented. The specific matters are announced as follows:

1. Expansion of open space and service functions:

1. The new Luoyang Library has expanded service functions: reading of books, newspapers and periodicals, and electronic reading room; expanded open space: newspaper and periodical reading room on the first floor, self-service book bar on the first floor, and electronic reading on the second floor. The reading room, the exhibition hall on the second floor, and the readers’ leisure areas on the east and west sides of the building.

2. The old Luoyang Library has expanded service functions: reading of books and newspapers and periodicals, electronic reading room reading; expanded open space: electronic reading room on the first floor, theme exhibition hall on the first floor, second and third floors There is a self-study reading room on the first floor and a newspaper and periodical reading room on the fourth floor. The back issues library and closed shelf library of the old library are temporarily closed due to their relocation to the new library.

2. Opening hours:

1. The new library’s windows for certificate application, reading, self-study, and book borrowing and return are open from 8:30-17:30; the electronic reading room Opening hours are 8:30-11:30 in the morning and 14:30-17:30 in the afternoon.

2. The reading, self-study, book borrowing and returning windows of the old library are open from 8:30-17:30; the opening hours of the certificate office and electronic reading room are 8:30-11:30 a.m. , 14:30-17:30 pm.

3. Admission requirements:

1. Readers must make an appointment one day in advance through the Luoyang Library WeChat official account or register to enter the library with a valid ID.

2. Control the total number of readers in the library at the same time. The number of readers in the new Luoyang Library at the same time shall not exceed 500; the number of readers in the old Luoyang Library at the same time shall not exceed 400. When the density of people in a certain area is too high at the same time, staff must follow the guidance.

3. Readers who enter the library must undergo a temperature test and hold their valid ID and reader card and present the "Luokang Code". Only those who pass the temperature test and have no obvious abnormal symptoms such as cough can enter the library. Masks must be worn at all times when entering the museum.

4. Readers should consciously cooperate with management when entering or waiting to enter the library, queue up in an orderly manner, and keep at least 1.5 meters apart between readers. Readers who are reading or studying in the library should try to keep one person at one table. , try to use self-service equipment when borrowing and returning books.

IV. Safeguard measures:

1. Open spaces and facilities should be fully disinfected twice a day, and windows should be kept open for ventilation.

2. All books returned by readers will be disinfected for 24 hours before being put on the shelves for circulation.

3. During the epidemic prevention and control period, there will be no exemption for overdue books returned from January 24 to June 30, 2020.
