During the period of 1975, China Resources started oil trade with the United States and Russian countries, because CR Vanguard Co., Ltd. was established in June 1938, and its headquarters was in Hongkong. In the mid-1970s, China Resources started the business of "three supplements and one supplement" in the Pearl River Delta.
