Most schools are obviously short of teachers. Why are there so few places for recruitment every year?

I think there should be no shortage of teachers in our country at present, and how serious it is. There is a strange place in our country. Where there is no shortage of teachers, there are many people who want to be teachers. In fact, how many teachers a school wants to recruit is not your school's decision. You have to report to the Education Bureau, which is actually more troublesome.

First of all, in theory, the annual enrollment plan of each school is determined, which is the goal set by the Education Bureau. If there is any situation in our school that needs to be adjusted, we need to apply to the Education Bureau, and the Education Bureau may have to report it further, so theoretically, it is impossible for teachers to be short of a lot at once. However, if there are no accidents every year, there will definitely be teachers who resign or quit, so it is very likely that teachers will need to be tested every few years.

Take our school as an example. This year's educational reform in Jiangsu Province has changed our examination mode. After the examination mode changes, we will find that there is a big problem, that is, many schools are very short of geography teachers, because in our examination mode in Jiangsu Province, few people choose geography as a subject. However, due to the current examination reform in Jiangsu Province, from the original 3+2 to 3+3, many students will choose 3+3 again. So our school is very short of geography teachers. At this time, we need to apply to the next step, and then let's recruit geography teachers.

Moreover, when we recruit teachers, we still need the supervision of the Education Bureau. Doesn't mean you can accept as much as you want. The number of applicants in our school was four, and finally the Education Bureau only approved three. So this is also a national policy, and you can't change it. But as long as you are good enough, no matter how many places there are, you must be one of them.
