Xiaochang County is a county under the jurisdiction of Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, and an important part of Wuhan city circle. The county is located in the northeast of Hubei Province, south of Dabie Mountain and north of Jianghan Plain. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. Historical evolution:

1April, 949, with the approval of the Third Administrative Office of Hubei and Henan, Xiaogan County People's Government was established.
