Test method of antenna efficiency

The efficiency test methods include wireless power test, comparison method and temperature test.

1. wireless power test method: connect the antenna with the signal source, and calculate the efficiency of the antenna by measuring the output power of the signal source and the power received by the antenna.

2. Comparison method: connect the antenna to be tested with a reference antenna with known efficiency, connect signal sources with the same power to the two antennas respectively, and calculate the efficiency of the antenna to be tested by comparing the signal strength received by the two antennas.

3. Temperature test method: input signals of predetermined working frequency and predetermined power to the antenna to make the antenna work; When the antenna reaches thermal balance, the working temperature of each equal part and the ambient temperature around the antenna are measured; According to the specific heat capacity, mass, working temperature and environmental temperature of each equal part, the heat dissipation of the antenna is calculated, and the input power of the antenna is calculated according to the predetermined power and return loss; According to the input power and heat dissipation, the antenna efficiency is calculated.
