Jilin Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by Jilin Provincial People's Government. Its predecessor was Jilin Electromechanical Senior Vocational School, which was founded in 1978. In 2003, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college and renamed Jilin Industrial Vocational and Technical College.
