After some tests, the technicians of the 4S shop said that Ms. Li's car was really short of engine oil, but the technicians said that Mercedes-Benz did not burn engine oil, and the engine oil alarm was probably because the engine oil was reduced when the new car left the factory. Then the staff of the 4S shop added engine oil to Ms. Li's car and let Ms. Li continue to observe.

However, when the vehicle traveled to 700 kilometers, Ms. Li' s car once again showed an oil alarm. Ms. Li can only drive the car back to the 4S shop for testing. After testing, the 4S shop staff confirmed that Ms. Li's car was short of oil, but the specific reason was unclear. The staff then marked several parts of the engine and suggested that Ms. Li go to the 4S shop for inspection every 1000 km. When the vehicle traveled to 9000 kilometers, Ms. Li came to the 4S shop for testing, but this time the test found that the fuel consumption was not very large. However, when driving to 10000 km, the staff of 4S shop confirmed that Ms. Li's car was out of oil again.

After confirming that the engine oil was insufficient, the technical director of 4S shop told Ms. Li that her vehicle was likely to burn engine oil and needed to be disassembled for inspection. Cheng Bang Star 4S shop would provide Ms. Li with a scooter during the inspection.

This is where the two sides disagree. Ms. Li thought that disassembling the cylinder would cause the vehicle to depreciate, so she refused to disassemble the cylinder: "I didn't know what was going on at that time. Later, I consulted the second-hand car staff of City Star, only to know that disassembling the cylinder means disassembling the engine, because the engine of Mercedes-Benz is installed at high temperature when it leaves the factory. If the engine is disassembled in the 4S shop, it means that the engine has been overhauled, which will lead to the depreciation of the vehicle, which may directly depreciate by 65,438+0/4, so I refuse to disassemble the vehicle. The staff of the 4S shop said that if the cylinder was not disassembled, it would be impossible to determine the reason for the lack of oil.

In addition, Ms. Li also said that the abnormal lack of oil in the vehicle indicates that there is a problem with the quality of the vehicle. According to the "Provisions on Responsibility for Repairing, Replacing and Returning Household Automobile Products" issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, consumers can choose to replace the engine and transmission for free within 60 days from the date when the seller issues the purchase invoice or within 3,000 kilometers. So Ms. Li proposed to replace the engine or return the car.

Ms. Li also said that her car ran out of gas at 3000 km, but it was not confirmed until 10000 km after four tests, and the 4S shop did not provide any proof for each warranty. This may be because the 4S shop deliberately delayed and wanted to delay the quality problem of the engine beyond the warranty period.

According to Changchun Evening News, Manager Wang, the person in charge of Star, told the reporter that it was really wrong for the staff of 4S shop not to issue a certificate to Ms. Li, but she recognized that Ms. Li's vehicle was short of oil for 3000 kilometers, not 10000 kilometers.

Manager Wang also said that the engine does have an abnormal shortage of oil, and the reason is unknown now. In order to confirm whether the engine is unqualified, it is necessary to disassemble the cylinder to check where there is something wrong with the engine. The inspection results confirmed that it was a quality problem, and Cheng Bang Star could only find the manufacturer to determine the compensation for Ms. Li. In addition, Ms. Li is worried about the depreciation of vehicles, while Cheng Bang star used car business. If Ms. Li wants to sell used cars in the future, Cheng Bang Star will recycle them at the normal market price.
