What are the requirements for becoming an auxiliary police?

Good health, good figure, no obvious disease characteristics, no skin diseases that affect the face and are difficult to cure, abnormal color blindness, no tattoos, no physical dysfunction, etc. , and have the physical conditions to perform their duties normally, in line with the requirements of the Notice on Defining the Relevant Matters of Physical Fitness Assessment and Physical Examination of Police Auxiliary Personnel in Public Security Organs (Lu Gongtong [2017] No.30);

5. Active auxiliary police have a high school education or above, and civilian auxiliary police have a college education or above;

6. Willing to engage in public security work, with the enterprising spirit of hard work and continuous fighting, able to participate in 24-hour duty, able to keep work secrets and obey organizational arrangements.

Legal basis: Measures for the Administration of Police Auxiliary Personnel of Guangdong Public Security Organs

Article 16 Auxiliary police shall meet the following conditions:

(a) support the Constitution, abide by national laws and regulations, and have good conduct;

(2) At least 18 years old;

(3) Having a high school education or above;

(4) Having the physical quality and working ability required for normal performance of duties;

(5) Other conditions prescribed by the public security organ. Those who apply for civilian auxiliary police should also have college education or above and professional qualifications or special skills required by the post. The conditions specified in the preceding two paragraphs may be appropriately lowered or raised for the special police auxiliary positions, but the reasons shall be indicated in the recruitment announcement.

Article 17 A person under any of the following circumstances shall not be employed as an auxiliary police:

(1) Having received criminal punishment or being suspected of violating the law and crime, which has not been ascertained;

(2) Being under administrative detention, reeducation through labor, education or having a history of drug abuse;

(3) Being expelled from public office or expelled by a state organ or institution;

(four) due to violation of the provisions of the public security organs to terminate the labor contract;

(5) Having a serious personal bad credit record;

(six) other personnel who are not suitable for police auxiliary work.

Article 18 When recruiting auxiliary police, public security organs shall sign labor contracts in accordance with relevant state laws and regulations.
