Civil service examination conditions

The conditions for taking the civil service examination are as follows:

(1) Having People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality;

(2)/kloc-under 0/8 years old and under 35 years old, and the age of graduate students and doctoral students can be relaxed to under 40 years old;

(3) Support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(4) Having good conduct;

(5) Having the physical conditions to perform their duties normally;

(six) have the ability to meet the requirements of the post;

(7) Having a college degree or above;

(8) Having other qualifications required by the central competent department of civil servants.

The following persons are not allowed to apply for civil servants:

1) serving civil servants;

(2) Servicemen;

(3) Non-fresh graduates who are studying;

(four) civil servants with less than 2 years' service (including probation period) and staff of organs (units) managed according to the Civil Service Law;

(5) Persons who have received criminal punishment for crimes and those who have been dismissed from public office;

(six) in the recruitment of civil servants at all levels, it is found that there are serious violations of employment discipline such as fraud;

(seven) the civil servants and the staff of the organs (units) managed by the Civil Service Law have been dismissed for less than 5 years;

(eight) the provisions of laws and regulations shall not be employed as civil servants or staff of organs (units) managed by reference to the Civil Service Law.

In addition, applicants are not allowed to apply for the positions listed in Article 68 of the Civil Service Law.

Article 68 of the Civil Service Law stipulates: "A civil servant who is husband and wife, lineal consanguinity, collateral consanguinity within three generations, or near-in-law, shall not work in the same organ where both parties are directly subordinate to the same member or have direct leadership between the superior and the subordinate, nor shall he engage in organization, personnel, discipline inspection, supervision, auditing and financial work in the organ where one of them holds leadership positions."
