Changshou is located in the center of Chongqing, near the Yangtze River, bordering the main city of Chongqing, and living in the east of Chongqing with the Three Gorges reservoir area. Facing the new historical opportunity, Changshou District Party Committee and District Government stood at the forefront of Chongqing's reform and development, took the initiative to integrate Changshou's economic and social development into Chongqing's developed economic circle, and formulated a three-step development strategy of "laying the foundation in three years, stepping up the stairs in five years, and becoming a strong area in ten years", aiming to make Changshou an industrial highland, suburban commodity agricultural base, tourist and leisure resort and regional logistics center in Chongqing.
