Main uses of electroslag furnace

Electroslag furnaces are widely used, mainly in iron and steel industry and metallurgical industry. Different slags can be used to refine various alloy structural steels, heat-resistant steels, bearing steels, forging die steels, high-temperature alloys, precision alloys, corrosion-resistant alloys, high-strength bronzes and other alloys of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, iron and silver. High-quality steel castings such as large-diameter steel ingots, thick slabs, hollow tube blanks, large diesel engine crankshafts, rollers, large gears, high-pressure vessels and gun barrels can be directly produced by using different molds.
