Binjiang Avenue here is a landscape avenue from Qingtongxia City to Shizuishan City via Yinchuan, with a total length of about 200 kilometers. It goes north along the Yellow River, with beautiful scenery and green mountains and waters on both sides of the road.

After arriving in Yinchuan in the evening, we went shopping for dinner. As this is our second visit to Yinchuan, we are not very familiar with the downtown area of Yinchuan. But this time we found that the shops on both sides of the street near the hotel were closed, and the Gulou Pedestrian Street was nearby. Probably because of the epidemic.

We came to Yinchuan for the first time in 2006 and visited Xixia Mausoleum and Zhenbeibao Western Film and Television City.

The purpose of our visit to Yinchuan this time is to go to Suyukou National Forest Park in Helan Mountain, 20 kilometers northwest of Zhenbeibao. We will go by car. If we want to take a bus, there is a tourist bus in Crescent Square in the city center. You can buy tickets in advance in the official WeChat account.

Helan Mountain is high and steep. Some places are green everywhere, while others are barren and desolate. In ancient times, Helan Mountain was a strategic military place.

After arriving at the ticket office of Suyukou National Forest Park in Helan Mountain, you can only transfer to the scenic bus to enter the scenic spot. The whole journey is about 8 kilometers. Tickets to 20 yuan, 60 yuan.

After driving into the scenic spot, I found it really necessary to ban foreign vehicles from entering. The reason is that although the mountain road is flat, it has many bends and is not wide; What's more, it is already a protected area, and many rock sheep can be seen in the distance. Three or three of them are looking for food. They are very alert.

Later, when hiking in the scenic spot, you can often see Qingyang. In the valley, in front of the house and halfway up the mountain, the rock sheep have strong climbing ability and can walk freely on the cliffs.

In the bus parking lot, the scenic tour guide recommended you to take the cableway, or the cableway or the plank road, and walk in the direction of Qingsongling, but we chose to turn right, take the cliff plank road and walk in the direction of Jinding, although we knew in advance that this road could only take half (about 4 kilometers), because Jinding was no longer open to tourists.

From the photos, we can hardly see what's so special about the cliff plank road, and why we should close Jinding. After climbing and observing all the way, we finally came to a general conclusion:

First of all, the cliff plank road is built on the cliff. Although these steps are easy to do, they are a challenge for those who are afraid.

But unfortunately, looking at the winding plank road on Jinding, I really want to find out from a distance.

All the way down the mountain, we went back to the bus parking lot (Songtao Mountain Villa) along the cliff plank road. There are only eight tourists on this road, so it seems right not to take the usual road.

Next, we will go up the mountain along the plank road next to the cable car, to Qingsongling ~ Pit ~ First Line Sky, and finally to the Cherry Valley parking lot, waiting for the bus to take us back to the ticket office.

After visiting the Canyon Cable Bridge, we will go down to heaven and wait in Cherry Valley. As soon as we got down from the mountain, it began to thunder and rain. Our townspeople thought it was nothing, but they were frightened by the security guards crouching halfway up the mountain. Catch up with us with the walkie-talkie and yell at us to enter a toilet (or a ladies' room) to avoid danger. It began to rain harder and harder.

We hid in the ladies' room for about half an hour before we knew we were in a canyon. Once it thunders and rains, there is a danger of flooding. Once there is a flood, we can't hide, so this security guard has been squatting on this post to ensure the safety of tourists.

I learned from the mouth of the security guard eldest brother that there was a flood a few years ago, which was very powerful and washed away a stone bridge in front of me, so they were very alert. It seems that we are too careless. We are very grateful to the unknown security guard in the scenic spot.
