Does Tongzhou count as a Beijing hukou?

Tongzhou is an administrative region of Beijing, which belongs to the administrative jurisdiction of Beijing. According to China's household registration system, household registration is managed according to administrative divisions. Therefore, Tongzhou residents can enjoy public services and welfare in Beijing and are regarded as having Beijing hukou. As a part of Beijing, Tongzhou residents enjoy the same rights and benefits as other Beijing hukou in employment, education and medical care.
