The relationship between Rong Shilong and Rong Yiren

Rong Shilong is Rong Yiren’s cousin. Due to the defeat of the Kuomintang in the Liberation War, Rong Shilong was forced to follow the Kuomintang to Taiwan and never returned to mainland China until his death. In order to find Rong Shilong, Rong Yiren even logged into a CCTV program. The purpose was to find Rong Shilong and hope to take Rong Shilong home.

I did some research online and found out that Rong Shilong didn’t have much information, but Rong Yiren did have detailed information. Rong Yiren is a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the History Department of Shanghai St. John's University in 1937. He is an outstanding representative of China's modern national industry and commerce and a patriotic industrialist. When he was young, he devoted himself to national construction and made great contributions to the national rejuvenation of New China and the strengthening of the country. At the same time, he comprehensively promoted China's industrialization.

Judging from Rong Yiren’s personal development, Rong Yiren can be said to be the representative of our nation and the epitome of the times. Because when I graduated from college, the country was still at war. After 14 years of arduous struggle, we ushered in an era of peace. In order to serve the motherland and realize his great ideals in life, Rong Yiren devoted himself to socialist construction without hesitation. Contributing one's whole life to the construction of the motherland is a spirit worth learning by each of us.

From the perspective of Rong Yiren’s growth story, I think he has many advantages that we can learn from.

Point 1: Strong spirit of patriotism.

Rong Yiren has a strong spirit of patriotism. Without a strong spirit of patriotism, it would be impossible to influence so many people with his actual actions. It is even more impossible to build our own country for more than ten years. It is this kind of patriotism that is an example and pursuit worthy of our contemporary young people.

Point 2: Persistent love for dreams.

Rong Yiren lit up his life with his dreams. What he had learned and thought at the time were all transformed into his dreams, which spread throughout the great rivers and mountains of the motherland through his practical actions. We young people must also have this kind of love for dreams, so that our dreams can light up our lives.

Point 3: Optimism about life.

The era he lived in was very difficult, but Rong Yiren did not complain, but faced life actively. It is precisely because he grew up in such a difficult environment that he has developed Rong Yiren's optimistic and positive life spirit. When you encounter difficulties, you will not give up, but choose to grit your teeth and persevere.

Summary: Rong Shilong and Rong Yiren have different fates, both for historical reasons and personal reasons. When we face life choices, we must also seriously think about our own life direction. I believe that only by carefully thinking about our own life path can we not make mistakes.
