In order to meet the needs of innovative and compound talents in the new century, our school aims at cultivating students' diversified development, takes modern information technology education and oral English teaching as the guide, takes junior high school basic knowledge education as the main body, and actively develops school-based courses, activity courses and comprehensive practice courses as the breakthrough, thus forming a Jingyan school-running model that meets the requirements of quality education. And has made remarkable achievements in running schools: since 2002, the first graduates have obtained the qualified rate, excellent rate and excellent rate of junior high school graduation examination in the city. Outstanding achievements have been made in scientific and technological inventions, literature, art and sports. The automatic rail cleaning machine won the gold medal of 13 National Invention Expo (and Guanghua Award, the only outstanding achievement award for young people in China), and the heavy bass violin won the international silver award of the International Invention Exhibition held in Seoul, South Korea (the only highest award in Hunan Province). The popular science activity "Environmental Protection in My Heart" won the first prize in the 18th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition. Teachers are the key to running schools. Our school selects the best teachers in Zhuzhou No.2 Middle School, which is rich in teachers, and recruits some excellent teachers for the whole province. At present, a team of high-quality teachers with innovative educational ideas and strong teaching ability has been formed, with municipal academic leaders as the leader and young and middle-aged teachers as the main body. 150 among the teachers, 90% have bachelor degree or above.
