Why should Sichuan hold a special job fair for post-disaster reconstruction and employment assistance in Jiuzhaigou?

On September 5, in order to help the unemployed people in Aba Prefecture of Sichuan Province find jobs in time due to the Jiuzhaigou earthquake, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security held a special job fair in Jiuzhaigou County, providing more than 1 10,000 jobs.

At the job fair, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and Chengdu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau * * * organized 34 employment enterprises in 9 main urban areas of Chengdu/kloc-0, providing 479 jobs for the unemployed groups affected by the earthquake in Jiuzhaigou and surrounding counties, as well as workers from poor families in Aba Prefecture who are willing to go out to work, exceeding 10000.

Job fairs are highly targeted. Institutions and employers at all levels have selected jobs with relatively high wages and benefits, appropriate job skills and moderate work intensity, which can generally provide accommodation and food, according to the previous survey of job-seeking needs of people in Jiuzhaigou County, Songpan County and ruoergai county, which were affected by the earthquake, covering posts such as property security, hotel waiters, tour guides, drivers and general workers.

Chengdu Employment Bureau also signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement of Chengdu-Aba Post-disaster Reconstruction Employment Assistance Project with Aba People's Social Security Bureau. The two places will build a docking platform for human resources supply and demand information, establish a working contact and exchange mechanism, and grasp the situation of the labor force in Aba Prefecture who is willing to work in Chengdu. Chengdu will organize enterprises to go to Aba Prefecture to carry out special job fairs for employment assistance according to demand.

According to reports, this is the largest on-site job fair held by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Chengdu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in recent years. After the on-site recruitment activities, Chengdu will also organize employment departments and enterprises in all districts and counties to strengthen follow-up services, improve the employment stability of recruiters, and effectively drive Jiuzhaigou County and surrounding people to transfer employment.
