Future campus address of Suzhou University

Suzhou University's future campus officially started construction in Taihu New Town, Wujiang District. Vice Mayor Wang Ben attended the groundbreaking ceremony and delivered a speech.

Wang Ben hopes that SUDA will closely follow the high-quality development opportunity of Yangtze River Delta integration, give full play to its resource advantages, make good use of the platform of the future campus, pay close attention to the scientific allocation of global scientific and educational resources, actively introduce and cultivate diversified, research-oriented and compound innovative talents, speed up Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools with world-class universities, and make every effort to turn the future campus into a first-class college, research institute, original center and humanities platform renowned at home and abroad.

In the future, the campus personnel training will adopt the diversified training mode of research-oriented, compound and innovative talents, the scientific allocation of scientific and educational resources on a global scale, and the recruitment of professional teachers on a global scale, reaching the international synchronous level. At present, Suzhou University is actively promoting in-depth cooperation with top international educational resources, attracting and integrating high-quality resources at home and abroad, promoting Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and building its future campus into a campus with global influence.

According to the needs of national strategy, regional economic development and the development of "double first-class" disciplines, the future campus of Suzhou University will focus on building schools, research institutes, original centers and humanities platforms such as data and artificial intelligence, new engineering, life sciences, new textiles, cultural construction and social governance.
