Xiaohuashan Temple: Where is Xiaohuashan Temple?

Xiaohuashan Temple is located on a beautiful earth rock in the southwest of Guapo Town, Huazhou District.

Founded in the Qing Dynasty, it is the only cave-dwelling Buddhist building in eastern Shaanxi, which was called "Huangchangdong" by the ancients. According to the records of Huaxian County, this temple was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Because the founder's name was Huang Yang, he offered incense to the gods, so it was named "Huangyangdong". Because of the scenery of the north, east and west peaks, it is also called xiaohuashan. In order to worship the gods, it was later named Xiaohua Mountain Temple.

Xiaohuashan Temple has rugged caves, resplendent Buddha statues, strong incense and magnificent momentum. It is a holy place for Buddhist sightseeing and worship.

The temple is built on the mountain, divided into two floors, covering an area of about 1 hectare, with large and small Buddha caves 15. There are mountain gates, Tianwangtang, courtyard, Niangniang cave, cave on the cave and Daxiong Hall on the ground floor. On the second floor, there are Wang Yaodong, Guanyin Cave, Vulcan Cave, Sanxing Cave, Kuixing Building and Beifeng side by side.

There is a well 50 meters deep in Wang Yao Cave. It is said that a bright moon can be seen in the middle of that year. If you take Wang Yao Shen Yao, you must decoct it in the well, so as to cure all diseases. Every temple fair on the third day of the third lunar month, good men and women, tourists from all corners of the country come here to burn incense and pray, and take a walk in the distance.

Master Shi Changyun is from Guapo Town. 19 17 (lunar calendar) was born on April 6th. Buddhism came into being in the early 1950s. 1957, the abbot of Bainingshan Temple, Shi Wude, became a teacher, converted to Sambo and became a nun. He practiced in Qianlong, Yongqing and Ningshan temples. 1980 recommended by Guapo Town Government, invited to host Xiaohuashan Temple.

1994 to May 1995, recover the land for temple building to raise funds. And has been successfully funded by Li Zongren Hehui overseas. Within three years from 1996 to 1999, the Great Britain Hall and the Heavenly King Hall were built.

On May 16, 2002 (Lunar New Year), Master Yun, the teacher, was seriously ill and passed away in Xiaohuashan Temple at the age of 85. The picture below shows the farewell ceremony.

Master Chang Yun passed away, and Guapo Street "Shilichang Street" saw the master off at the scene.

On June 13, 2002, Wang, the director of hua county Religious Affairs Bureau, came to the temple and appointed the master as the director of Xiaohuashan Temple. The picture shows the scene at that time.

Master Yun went to _, but she stayed in Buddhism for more than half a century.

During his career, he devoted a lot of efforts to the inheritance, construction and reconstruction of Xiaohuashan Temple, and made immortal achievements.
