Jinan’s main tourist attractions (Daming Lake, Baotu Spring, Quancheng Square, Qianfo Mountain) are distributed along the north-south belt, less than three kilometers apart from each other. For transportation between scenic spots, it is faster for individual travelers to choose to take a taxi.

From the train station to Daming Lake, take bus No. 11 to the southwest gate and south gate of the park; take bus Nos. 31, 36, and 37 to the east gate of the park; take No. 6 to the north gate; Take tourist bus No. 41 or 66 to reach the southwest gate of Daming Lake.

Baotu Spring Park is located in the city center, one kilometer south of Daming Lake, across the road from Quancheng Square, and only about one mile away from Quancheng Road, the busiest commercial street, with convenient transportation. You can get there directly by taking buses K51, K52, K54, 66, 72, 82, 85, 101, 102, 103 and 104.

Qianfoshan Park is two kilometers south of Baotu Spring. You can take buses 2, 16, 31, 48, 62, 79, K51, K54, and K56 to Qianfoshan Station.

Taxi: starting price is 6 yuan, plus 1 yuan for gas. 1.5 yuan/km after 3 kilometers.

All buses in Jinan automatically accept coins and do not give change.

Regular cars cost 1 yuan, K series air-conditioned cars cost 2 yuan, so be sure to have change ready.

Taian transportation, dining, and shopping tips:

After arriving in Tai'an, take bus No. 3 at Taishan Railway Station to reach Tianwai Village and the Hongmen Mountain Gate. Tianwai Village is the entrance to Tai'an. Shanxi Road is the starting point for hiking up the mountain, and Hongmen is the starting point for hiking on Taishan East Road. Note that the two ends of the No. 3 bus are Tianwai Village and Hongmen respectively. Taishan Railway Station is the most important intermediate station for the No. 3 bus.

The entrances to Mount Tai’s Tianwai Village (West Road) and Hongmen (East Road) are located at the southern foot of Mount Tai. In addition to these two tourist routes, there are also Taohuayu (Northwestern Foot of Mount Tai), There are two mountaineering tour routes at Tianzhufeng (northeast foot of Mount Tai). Taishan Railway Station has a special tourist line No. 2 leading to Tianzhu Peak (fare 4 yuan, 20 kilometers), and a special tourist line No. 16 leading to Taohuayu (fare 3 yuan, 15 kilometers).

Dai Temple is the most important tourist attraction in Tai'an besides Mount Tai. It is also known as one of the three major palaces in ancient China together with the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Dacheng Hall of the Confucius Temple in Qufu. There is bus No. 4 from Taishan Railway Station to Dai Temple.

The starting price of a taxi in Tai'an is 5 yuan, and 1 or 5 yuan per kilometer after 2 kilometers. The fare of bus routes 3 and 4 is 1 yuan.

To take the train, you usually get off at Yanzhou Railway Station. It is 16 kilometers from Yanzhou to Qufu. The train departs from Liushui, so you can go wherever you want. Bus No. 1 from Qufu Railway Station leads to Confucius Mansion and Confucius Forest in the city, and bus No. 5 leads to Lu Guo Shengshi, Six Arts City, Analects of Confucius Monument Garden, the bus station (200 meters in front of the Confucius Temple) and other scenic spots. However, Qufu is a small city and the bus intervals are relatively long. Transportation between scenic spots is more affordable and convenient by taking a rickshaw or motorcycle. Generally, 2 yuan per person is enough.
