Programming Engineer and Mold Design of NC Machine Tool

Numerical control programming and numerical control programming are roughly the same. CNC means that the machine must be equipped with a computer, but it does not have to be made into a product machine tool.

NC programming is easier to learn than mold design. As long as you master the application of the software and understand the cutting parameters and precautions of the machine tool, you can do programming immediately. Generally, it is 3500 when you first come out, 4500 when you are proficient, and 5000 when you have been programming for several years. This means that you are only responsible for programming 2-4 machine tools without operating them. Programming operations, they are at least 5500-6500.

Mold design is more troublesome than NC programming. Because you not only have to master all kinds of applications of the software, such as modeling, parting, drawing bill of materials, etc. You must also understand the various structures of the mold. The mold design in the book is pure bullshit, not that you can't learn the essence, but that you made it according to the accuracy in the book, 100% scrapped. To learn mold design, you should go to the factory as an apprentice of the mold group, and be familiar with various structures on the mold, mold assembly, hole position structure, sealing pouring and so on. After you fully understand it, learn the software, apply the mold structure you know, and make available molds. So it is very troublesome to learn.

Mold design salary is 5000- 10000, just like programming, you may spend 3500-4500 a month. When you can design more than a dozen molds a month (this efficiency is difficult to achieve), your salary is at least 7000. Many factories are used for mold design, many of which are tens of thousands of dollars. Because the mold you designed is reasonable, it saves money and processing time. Subsequent programming and operation time depend on whether your design is reasonable or not.
