Jingdezhen is a very small city, surrounded by mountains. Well-known local enterprises and institutions include Changhe Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (making helicopters and Changhe cars, with good benefits), 602 Research Institute (developing helicopters) and Huayi Company (making refrigerators and compressors). Our school is the only local undergraduate college. Let's count them in. In addition, there are many ceramic factories, most of which are well-known, but the benefits are average; There are also many ceramic workshops run by individual artists to make some works of art for sale; Then there are shopping malls and shops, where ceramics are sold.

It can be seen that if you are doing ceramic painting and other work, it is not difficult to find something to do in Jingdezhen. The income depends on your level, and there are too many masters there; If the major has nothing to do with ceramics and you want to mix well, you can only find a way to enter those units (Changhe, Huayi, 602, etc. Besides, I can't imagine any decent enterprises there. These units should have jobs corresponding to your major, but whether you can enter or not depends on your ability. Generally, it seems that they will not recruit for the society.

It was still very shabby when I went there in 2002. Later, it was a little better. Several main roads are being reformed, and some commercial pedestrian streets and commercial communities have been added, but the overall feeling is only a county town.

As far as law and order is concerned, it can only be said that the overall situation needs to be improved. We are a university, and the neighborhood is not very bad, but other areas are said to be not so good. After all, the whole city is not prosperous and public security is not much better. As for the overall quality of the local people, it is not easy to make a general evaluation except that there is nothing particularly bad. Besides, there are more than 10,000 students in our school alone in that small town, and there are many local artists, which should be able to neutralize some bad social factors. As long as you choose the right place to live and associate with the right people, there will be no problem.

In a word, Jingdezhen is a quiet small city with poor hardware facilities but good surrounding natural environment. The consumption level there is not high, but the overall income is not high and the employment area is narrow. Better try again. Working and living there requires a certain degree of loneliness.
