In August, 1952, the health center moved to Heping Road East Street, and the number of houses increased to 30. 1June 10, Handan Town Health Center was renamed as "Handan Town Health Center" with 7 beds.

1953 In April, the town health center was renamed as Handan Health Center, and the number of beds was increased to 19.

1954 1 month, the municipal health center was renamed as Handan People's Hospital, and in the same year it received private Kang Hua pharmacy.

1955165438+1October, the Municipal People's Hospital was renamed as Handan Hospital.

1956, the first ward building was completed.

In April, 1957, the hospital was moved from Shangmao Street to Congtai Road.

1958, the hospital purchased a 500 microampere X-ray machine from Hungary.

1April, 959, with the approval of the superior, the Chinese medicine department was expanded to Handan Chinese medicine hospital.

1March, 960, Hanxing merged, and Handan Hospital was renamed as "Handan First Hospital".
