What is the person in charge of the laboratory and what are the job requirements?

Laboratory is the way for researchers to do experiments and research, which stores a lot of chemicals, which is extremely dangerous if it is not managed properly. The person in charge of the laboratory refers to the staff who are fully responsible for the management of the laboratory, formulate relevant workflow, supervise and guide the experimental process, analyze the experimental results and give guidance.

Responsibilities of the person in charge of the laboratory:

1. Be fully responsible for laboratory technical work, review laboratory equipment purchase, calibration and metrological verification plans and organize their implementation;

2. Identify the deviation of test procedures and take measures to correct, prevent or reduce such deviation;

3. Be responsible for solving technical problems in inspection and reviewing the signing of new, complex or demanding inspection contracts;

4. Be responsible for the confirmation of standard methods and the review, verification and confirmation of new methods, organize the preparation of technical documents such as company inspection procedures and operating procedures, and be responsible for examination and approval;

5. Review and organize the implementation of the company's new projects, scientific research and development, technology introduction and technical improvement.

Requirements for the post of laboratory director:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in environmental engineering/chemistry/sanitary inspection/microbiological inspection, etc.

2. Have experience in laboratory technical management, and conduct comprehensive technical guidance and management for all departments and specialties of the laboratory;

3. Seriously responsible and patient;

4. Familiar with the performance of analytical instruments and various analytical methods;

5. Be able to undertake the development of new projects and guide the analysis and testing work of testers.
