Special post teachers are a special policy for rural compulsory education in the central and western regions.

by openly recruiting college graduates to teach in rural schools at or below the county level in the "two basics" in the central and western regions, we will guide and encourage college graduates to engage in rural compulsory education, innovate the supplementary mechanism of rural school teachers, gradually solve the problems of insufficient total number of rural school teachers and unreasonable structure, improve the overall quality of rural teachers, and promote the balanced development of urban and rural education.

The implementation principles of special post teachers:

1. Adhere to the scope and strict conditions. Counties (cities, districts) that are included in the "special post plan" must be counties (cities, districts) with overall shortage of teachers, prominent structural contradictions and relatively difficult financial resources, but with good work foundation and high enthusiasm. In principle, new teachers cannot be supplemented in other ways during the implementation period of the "special post plan".

2. Central planning and local implementation. The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Personnel, and the Central Committee have formulated the overall plan and annual plan, and put forward guiding opinions on the total number of teachers in the "special post plan".
